"Dahlia Series I"

"Dahlia Series I" is a reflection of the harsh extremes of the summer of 2007. As with many other geographic locations, our weather most unusual. We continue to be in a severe drought and experience days on end of exhaustive heat. The few rains that came were so heavy as to cause erosion and flooding and were accompanied by damaging winds and lightening.

And, yet, there was this lovely Dahlia immersed in perfect beauty quietly rebelling against the forces of nature.
